"Lelia Lancaster." she tries to keep a normal tone. Though she already wanted to leave the room as soon as he walked in. "A pleasure to meet you, my lady." he says, "I've never heard of your family, but I'm sure they are very prestigious, yes?" he turns his attention to Lady Egan. "I take it you've thought about my proposal?" he says, "You are in a very strategic position, my lady. You swore an oath to our King, if I need remind you." She shakes her head, "My husband swore an oath. My husband is dead. I swore no such oath." he gets visibly upset, "I see... perhaps I should tell the king you've yet to swear an oath of loyalty." he looks at Lelia, "You are loyal to the king, are you not my lady?" "I swear my oath to whoever protects the land I walk on; be that the King or not."

"I swear my oath to whoever protects the land I walk on; be that the King or not." He scoffs, "That would be the king dear." he turns back to Lady Egan, "She brings up a good point. Protection. How do you expect the king to protect you from the rebels in the south, if you do not let his men through your lands." "You are asking more than that." Celtigar says angrily, "You are asking for us to send our sons to die in this little rebellion." he shakes his head, "Perhaps Mathias isn't the rightful king if he can't handle a rebellion. We both know that King Redfort is on his deathbed, when he falls Prince Mathias takes the crown. Can you honestly say you are comfortable with that?" he says. Staunton laughs, "You're starting to sound like a rebel Celtigar. Mind your tongue when the adults are talking, knight." he looks at Lelia before she can talk, "You too." he looks at her suit, "What kind of lady dresses in men's clothing, a harlot i'd say!"

She ignores the comment. "It's funny how you speak of protection when your rebellion problem seems to cause the opposite. Your 'war' caused most of Holden's garrison to leave, making it a cake walk for bandits to attack and pillage it. My family and most of Holden is dead because that. For an adult you talk like a child, and as if your father will beat you if you think for your own."

"Are you denying the call?" he asks her, "It is treason to refuse your king." he barks. He stands from the table. Lady Egan sits silently, unable to say anything, Celtigar clenches his fist, but keeps his mouth shut.

Don't you should give her time to decide, instead of foaming from the mouth like a rabid dog?"

He smirks, "Good..... very good." he turns to Lady Egan, "She's a quick learner. Unfortunately, I will have to report a failure to his grace... it is a shame, I expect Prince Mathias will want your heads on pikes soon enough." he turns and walks out, a guard opens the door and he leaves. As soon as the door shuts behind him, Celtigar walks over to Lelia and grabs her face, he turns her head and looks at her lip, "Are you okay? It doesn't look too bad."

Lady Egan speaks up finally, "Lelia....." she says disappointed.
