[Edwyn II] Battle Planning in Three Streams

"You there!" He calls out to a soldier passing by,"Search the camp for a squire named Edric, and send him to the tavern." The soldier says, "Yes sir." and jogs off. Edwyn and Stephas enter the tavern. As they enter the crowded tavern, the soldiers and townspeople cheer on their arrival. The bartender looks at him and he says, "Drinks are on the house my lord, what can I get you." as they approach the bar two soldiers get up for them to sit down. Lord Stephas takes a seat and says, "A horn of some Stormden Ale."

A tavern wench brings out two horns for them and Lord Stephas eyes her and tells her, "Don't go too far love." and takes a huge sip of ale. She smiles and gives the horn to Edwyn.
"The best cure for a battle is alcohol and women!" he shouts laughing, "Am I right, or am I right?"

"To Thomas!" he shouts and raises his horn. They smack into eachother, spilling ale on the ground and Lord Stephas chugs back half of the horn and then lets out a large burp. "Say Edwyn... how's your father doing?"

"It's been good, our fishing exports have been higher than usual what with the war going on." he takes another large drink. Edwyn hears the sound of the door shutting, and Edric approaches the bar. He stands beside Edwyn and asks, "My lord?"

"Wine....sometimes, my lord." he says quietly.

"I've never had it before my lord...." he looks around, "But I suppose now is as good a time as ever." he grabs the horn and takes a large taste. He makes a sour face and then begins to cough. Stephas laughs loudly and slaps him on the back.
