"It gets easier." Edwyn assures him, laughing along with Stephas. "So, m'lord, any idea what's next for the war?" He lets out a loud burp, "Aye... we wait 'till morning and if they don't attack, we push them back to Akrivea, we set up camp at the crossroads and wait for more men." he clears his throat and stands up, he raises his horn, "TO VICTORY!" he shouts. Edwyn toasts him, and lays his arms on the bar. "Absolutely, my lord.". He takes another big drink before asking "But what is the condition of our forces? Have the royal army and forces from the north come to join us?" He passes before adding "We've yet to see the the rest of the south'side forces, and I fear Akrivea is the logical place for them to muster."

"I received a letter before the battle, The royal army is preparing to set out to Larwick, it seems the southerners are attempting to siege it, no doubt to try and gain a foothold on the coast and a forward camp to our capitals. As for the Sunderly army, I do not know, our scouts haven't placed them at Akrivea, so they could still be mustering in Ironford." he clears his throat awkwardly, "And the forces from the north.... another thing the letter said is that you are to ride for Tarfield and secure an alliance. I know you'd probably rather fight with us, but It's the kings orders, I had hoped that I could tell you tomorrow, so we can enjoy the rest of our night."

He burps, "As soon as possible... but you needn't leave yet." Lord Collinner is obviously drunk, Edwyn is accustomed to drinking and is not even buzzed. He could leave tonight for Tarfield, It would be easier to slip out at night without being seen by enemy scouts, just him and Edric, or he could wait until morning and leave with a detachment of troops, however the absence of said troops may affect the riverlands forces.

Edwyn decides that he will wait until morning, and head out with a small force of his twenty best men, along with his squire. Small enough not to affect the Riverlands' security, but enough to get him where he needs to go. "Of course, of course!" Laughs Edwyn, "We've just won a battle! Festivities are in order!"

Lord Collinner laughs and slams another horn of ale. By the end of the night, he falls asleep on the bar counter and Edric passes out beside him. Edwyn is sufficently drunk and looks around the quiet bar, most of the drinkers have left, are passed out or are silently drinking to themselves. The tavern is a mess and the keeper stands out the counter wiping, it down.

Then, careful to keep his balance, he sets out to find any of his troop commanders.

As he exits the tavern he takes another step and falls face first in the mud. He hears a soft voice close by say, "Ser..?" He sloppily rolls over to his side and tries to discern the source of the voice. He sees three identical twin women, all with auburn hair down to their shoulders. They all speak in unison, "Ser, are you okay? Do you need help?"

"I'm fine my ladies, thank you for asking, you're all very beautiful and kind." he slurs. He tries to get up one more time before continuing, "On second thought..."

He hears mailed footsteps approaching from his other side, "Help me with him please, sir." he hears one of the sisters say, an gloved hand grabs him by the arm and that's all he remembers before he blacks out.
